True Confessions of a Bully
Bringing actors with disabilities and those who are able-bodied to your school or organization is much more than a theater experience.
Our production True Confessions of a Bully teaches students why it is wrong to bully, and what they can do to prevent it from happening. This production includes a ten to fifteen minute talk back.

"Dionysus Theatre's True Confessions of a Bully is an authentic enactment of where students live... the hallways, lockers room, cafeteria, and buses of middle school. This one act play could not be more perfect appealing to students who experience the harsh words of classmates, that at times, make them feel unsafe. Each and every True Confessions character could be a student attending Cook Middle school. Our students could relate to the passionate and heartfelt performance of each actor. Cook's student audience responded to the performance by writing a letter to one of True Confessions' characters. Our students' responses were insightful and compassionate. Ms. Nowinski's incredible words as the play write are spot on. Her words are honest, poignant, at times painful, and worth the time taking students out of their regular curriculum to experience a real life lesson... the importance of treating their peers with dignity." – CYFAIR ISD Joyce Bontke, Counselor
"Im a bully. I need to change." - Liberty County Student
